Built to keep your data off the network
Scribena is software that runs on your own device, and its security starts with collecting less. The files the app creates stay on that device, while the website handles only accounts and billing. So even if the website were attacked, what you recorded would not be there to expose.
The files you create in the app — recordings, transcripts, summaries, and notes — are encrypted on your own device. Audio chunks are protected with AES-GCM.
Those files stay on the device that made them. Phone-to-PC transfer uses a local cable path only.
Payments are handled directly by the payment provider. Scribena's servers never receive or store card numbers.
Our servers hold only account and billing records. The files you create in the app are not among them.
Email verification, password-strength checks, login rate limiting, and optional two-factor authentication (MFA).
Supports consent, access, correction, and deletion in line with applicable privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PIPA).
